- Controlling, monitoring, and guidance of the daily work within the maintenance of the colocation data centre.
- Managing, monitoring, and controlling of the execution planning and progress of the maintenance of the facility.
- Coordinating, organizing, and controlling the work processes.
- Drafting adequate delivery forecasts and tunes progress with VP Tech Ops.
- Carrying out the final inspection and delivery of the maintenance activities.
- Chairing and possibly taking minutes of maintenance meetings with vendors and subcontractors
- Assessing out-of-scope activities required with vendors and subcontractors.
- Tracking maintenance administration: money, time, and quality during the work processes.
- Ensuring compliance with data centre specific risk assessments, regulations, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensuring an equipment life cycle and testing program as required.
- Managing the Building Management System (monitoring availability of the data centre technical infrastructure) infrastructure.
- Managing the instant solving of deviations, alarms, and incidents.
- Supporting the data hall team with the realization of operational custom changes.
- Maintaining and managing plans (e.g., end of life, major changes, etc.).
- Managing corrective and preventive maintenance; incident- and safety (work, people) reports.
- Providing and ensuring maintenance planning and checklists for the facility engineers.
- Providing scripts and risk analysis for planned maintenance work (risk management).
- Defining the maintenance program with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Selecting an appropriate maintenance program for each part of the faculty’s infrastructure.
- Developing different types of work instructions for the equipment as required.
- Coordinating maintenance service providers (outsourcing) as required.
- Creating different maintenance programs for the facilities infrastructure as required.
- Identifying and coordinating outsourced and in-house maintenance service requirements.
- Developing and managing maintenance agreements and contracts- T&M, basic or comprehensive.
- Managing and following up equipment warranty.
- Developing and maintaining an effective spare part holdings and management system.
- Developing and maintaining the facilities contamination control policies and procedures.
- Developing and conducting facilities training program.
- Developing and maintaining MOPs, SOPs, EOPs.
- Creating and maintaining the facilities maintenance schedule.
- Maintaining and leading the operation of the CMMS Tool.
- Recommending and maintain the list of tools required for maintenance activities.
- Ensuring vendors supply back-to-back service to SLA.
- Supervising project progress in coordination with the PMO team.
- Organizing, coordinating, and leading the project team.
- Coordinating, recording, and ensuring quality compliance.
- Implementing the new service or equipment or environment, etc.
- Complying with budgets and delivery times.
- Planning maintenance and customer support.
- Developing vendor management policy and procedures, vendor selection, backup source, daily management.
- Developing contract management policies and procedures.
- Participating on vendor selection and evaluation process.
- Performing service requirement analysis to identify required vendors.
- Defining scope and deliverables of each vendor.
- Defining the technical, legal, and commercial requirements of the service providers.
- Developing and evaluate RFI and RFP process.
- Preparing vendor scorecard in vendor selection.
- Performing allover contract and performance management of the vendors.
- Ensuring that vendors are trained for safety, security, and facility compliance.
- Managing a team for testing and commissioning agent.
- Supervising all testing and commissioning activities in the data centre technical infrastructure.
- Ensuring serial numbers are added to the asset management database as each item of equipment installed
- Ensuring ESG requirements are complied with.
- Promoting a zero accident / incident culture and environment.
- Certifying the system and /or systems are fit for purpose and formally handover to the client.
- Ensuring that testing and commissioning is carried out and recorded in accordance with correct and up to date drawings, plans, specifications and computer software and data
- Ensuring that the quality of the testing and commissioning is in accordance with business, client, manufacturers and legal procedures, processes, regulations, and standards.
- Undertaking regular audits of the testing and commissioning operation to ensure business, client, manufacturers and legal procedures, processes, regulations and standards are being complied with.
