Your mission
• Running diagnostics, troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on MEP critical facilities equipment within the data centre as specified and on schedule.
• Conducting regular health checks for present and future MEP obstacles, issues, and opportunities to increase operational effectiveness
• Providing on-site supervision of all MEP maintenance sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is performed according to established SLAs, practices, and procedures
• Operating and managing both routine and emergency servicing of MEP critical systems such as: switchgears, diesel generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, fire detection / suppression.
• Tracking and maintaining an up-to-date MEP capacity tracker as per the capacity management policy and procedures. i.e Available Capacity by Key Resource (Power, Cooling in line with the established MEP Capacity benchmarks.
• Providing guidance and technical support to all MEP outsourced vendors and sub-contractors to generate MOPs, to conduct and manage changes as per change management policy and are well coordinated.
• Maintaining a record of Peak Load Per Cabinet Over i.e Last 30 Days
• Providing support to the NOC through Identification, tracking and closure of MEP incidents as per the agreed SLA.
• Ensuring cabinet Power Failover Redundancy Compliance as per the best practice and industrial standards.
• Tracking and maintaining energy consumption records and propose energy efficient practices e.g., lighting & cooling systems management practices.
• Ensuring that all scheduled Preventive & corrective maintenances are conducted according to schedule adhering to Industry best practices.
• Proactively monitoring the trend rack inlet temperatures in data Hall environment with the aim to minimize the occurrence, size, and duration of all service-impacting hot spots.
• Assisting on cabling request and ensure quality Structured Cabling installation through close supervision of cabling installer.
• Backfilling when 24x7 L1 facility engineers or NOC require assistance.
• Documenting and ensuring all MEP SOPs are adhered to.
• Completing of site logs and data gathering issuing for basic permits, such as permit to work at heights.
